On the Rooftop
My husband actually went along with one of my crazy ideas this evening, and I'm SOOOO thankful he did. I had my mind and heart set on what I was going to spend time doing tonight... With him or by myself, I was doing it --- headed to the roof (again) to contemplate life.
There was the beautiful full moon and very little cloud cover, and I asked hubby if he'd join me on the roof with a cozy blanket and pillows.
I was happy he joined me, as it was quite enriching having him share that special mood and time with me.
What a beautiful, peaceful time with a breath-taking view of the full moon through the hundred-year-old oak trees in the front yard.
Peaceful. Calming. Personally, I need times like this to continually remind me what is truly amazing and what really matters.

Are Cars for Sale Videos Effective for Local Car Dealers?
From time to time, I check out local content being added to YouTube to see the quality of videos being produced and which businesses and organizations are jumping on the online video bandwagon.
After choosing a search for the local area, I sort results by "Date Added" to see the most recent additions and number of views the videos are receiving.
Today there are no less than 13 pages of results for a local car dealer putting videos of individual cars for sale. What's really crazy is that some of these videos go back several weeks and even months, yet most have 0 views.
In my opinion, local "car for sale" videos aren't working and are a major waste of time and money to produce and publish.

Lame, Lame I am at Blogging
How are others able to blog so often?
Is it because they have a specific purpose, something they're trying to promote with their blog, or are they that dedicated to sharing a part of themselves with others?
I've tried, with no success, to write in my blogs on a regular basis.
But tons of websites to manage and update, there just hasn't been time or
enough motivation to make the time for me to update blogs.
Maybe I should make some sites blogs, because I do differentiate between the two. Now THAT does seem to work for some of my friends and colleagues.

Direct Navigation Market Gaining Exposure

Thank Goodness Wilma Slowed
We just returned from a week-long Internet conference in southern Florida and luckily Wilma slowed down and missed us by a couple of days.
It's one thing to be at home when a hurricane is heading our way... It's quite another to be out of town, in an oceanfront hotel, in the projected path of an impending hurricane, wondering if a mandatory evacuation will force you from your hotel... ( read more )
